Meet the Jute Hanging Basket Liner 16Inch — an eco-smart upgrade for your hanging planters. Designed for both top and side planting, it makes creative displays easy while simplifying maintenance across seasons.
- Superior water management: polythene backing minimizes water loss, while the liner can hold up to five times its own weight in water, helping plants stay hydrated during warm spells.
- Flexible planting options: slits along the sides enable planting through the sides, with the option to add more slits later for cascades or vertical interest.
- Targeted compatibility: crafted for use with a 12 inch or 30 cm round bottom wire hanging basket, making liner swaps quick and hassle-free.
- Sustainable material: made from 100% recycled fibre, delivering an environmentally friendly solution without sacrificing performance.
- Easy installation: quick to line a basket and ready for immediate planting, so you can enjoy vibrant displays sooner.
This 16Inch jute liner is ideal for balcony and patio setups where you want to maximize volume and color with minimal fuss. Perfect for trailing petunias, ivy, geraniums, herbs, or seasonal blooms, it supports diverse planting schemes while maintaining tidy, contained moisture. The combination of natural jute with a water-retentive backing gives you the rustic look you love with practical, modern performance.
Use cases and tips: use side planting to create layered arrangements that spill over the basket edges, or plant top-down for a fuller, compact display. Pre-wet the liner lightly before planting to reduce initial water loss, and choose a well-draining potting mix suited to your chosen plants. If you’re experimenting with larger or taller varieties, add extra slits to improve airflow and root comfort. With its recycled-fibre construction and water-saving backing, this liner helps you cultivate lush, sustainable baskets season after season.
