What makes Jiffy 7 unique?
- Precise, uniform size: 24mm x 43mm pellets that fit neatly into standard propagation trays for consistent spacing and predictable rooting results.
- Two substrate options: Available as peat and coir blends or 100% coir, all using RHP-certified coco material to ensure a reliable, aerated rooting medium.
- Optimized rooting environment: The coco-based substrate provides superior aeration and moisture management, promoting robust root initiation and healthy development.
- Quality you can rely on: Rigorous quality control guarantees the physical and chemical properties of the substrate remain within set parameters for dependable performance season after season.
- Versatile propagation solution: Ideal for a broad spectrum of crops and propagation methods, from vegetables and herbs to ornamentals and woody cuttings.
Who should use Jiffy 7 Pellets? Home gardeners, hobbyists, and professional growers alike who want a simple, efficient, and repeatable way to start seeds and propagate cuttings with consistent results.
Key benefits in practice
- Minimize transplant shock by starting plants in a contained, stable rooting medium that transfers easily to pots or garden beds.
- Achieve uniform germination and rooting across your tray, thanks to consistently sized pellets and a media that maintains the right balance of moisture and air.
- Reduce handling and mess compared to loose media, while still delivering strong early root systems ready for transplant.
- Compatible with a wide range of crops and propagation setups, making it a versatile choice for multi-crop operations.
How to use
- Hydrate the pellets to expand them fully in water or as directed, until they are sponge-like and ready to hold roots.
- Place the expanded pellets in a propagation tray or plug system, keeping the surface level for even germination or rooting.
- Insert seeds or take cuttings in the center of each pellet, then provide appropriate light, warmth, and humidity to encourage rooting.
- Monitor moisture levels and maintain a stable environment until roots fill the pellet and transplant is ready.
- Transplant the pellet into soil or a larger growing medium with the plant still contained in its original pellet to minimize root disturbance.
Choose Jiffy 7 Propagation Pellets for a dependable, efficient start to your plants. With a pack of 50 ready-to-use pellets, you’ll have a scalable solution that supports consistent results across multiple crops and seasons.
